First, I would like to say thank you to the community and staff for viewing my application, and appreciate all criticism and praise given.
Well first off, I truly believe with age comes wisdom, and I have been through a lot to know what needs to be done in certain situations. I have not only been a moderator on multiple gaming servers, I have also been an administrator, I have also been admins on forums, I would be there to keep the order. I have even owned my own gaming servers and forums. So with that being said, I do have experience managing and assisting communities throughout the gaming world, I will always give my best to the server and members I am in a community with. I want to be one of those staff members that help the newbies and veterans with no prejudgement and I will use fair conflict resolution techniques between both parties. I want to show the community, as I have done to others, that we are a strong force of love and care.
My goal is to help those who are looking to have an amazing online server experience, and to let them be heard, and to give them the friendship of staff and member, like the server so wants. I see a lot of potential in this server, it is small, but growing very strong. Not only do I have experience in the gaming world, my experience also goes beyond that, in the real world. I have a degree in Business Marketing, how does that help you might ask? Well it basically means I am wired to give the best possible experience and image of the server to its community, and that I will do, by all means necessary. I am working on my bachelors in Business Administration, I have learned an amazing amount of conflict resolution techniques, and how to implement them. Some see me as someone who is a problem solver, who gets his point across, and who is fair and reasonable. I am a realist. Not only do I have the professional education, I have the workforce experience as well, I have managed many employees in my past. I have managed a roster of up to 20 people, it may not seem like a lot, but it is. I would create schedules (organization), coach the employees (management), close and open the store (responsibility), greet the customers with open arms (community experience). I would like to add in here that I also admit my faults when they are mine, otherwise I will fight for it, I do not want to be wronged as I am sure others do not as well. (dedication). So with that being said, I will still judge equally, on both parties. (equality).
I do not only want to moderate the server, I want to enhance it, I want the people to flock to us!! How do we do that? We brand. That is it. We give ourselves an awesome image, with an awesome staff and awesome community. We do that and they will come. I guarantee they will.
Now enough about my history and experience, how about a bit of who I am, and what I am worth to this server. I am someone who, like I said above, likes to get things done and solve any problems that arise in a professional manner. I will always be there for members of the community. I like to see myself as someone who is morally sane and takes everything in to consideration in any given situation. My dedication is beyond comparison, TheNewGuy can let you know about that, I do not like myself or anyone else getting wronged in any situation. I will be sure to prevent any of that. When I am called, I will answer immediately, and I will resolve the issue with my best intentions and my best judgement. I will be the hammer of Thor, I will give the loving embrace of a mother (not creepy at all), and I will have the neutrality of a lawful judge. I will be all I can be and more than is expected of me, because that is what I do, I go above and beyond for my superiors and for the members of the community. I am a very nice guy, I am very laid back, and I love to have fun! Who doesn't? Having fun is the whole point of this server! But we have rules, let me address that I have messed up a couple times, but I have learned and I was quick to correct myself. I am someone who does not make a mistake twice.
As far as my activity and loyalty to the server goes, I will be on almost every single day, and my loyalty stays with this server because I love it! I have been on others because I was banned from a misunderstanding, but it was quickly resolved (dedication) and I am glad to be back! I want nothing but the best for this server, it gives me hope for it to become a strong and outstanding community, let us work to together to make it stronger!
Do you know any staff members?
I have met Frank, he is a very good T-Mod in my opinion, even tempered and fair. I have met Vioteck and Retro but have not talked with them too much. I know Ruthy, Not Steven, Behavioral and I have seen Legends here and there.
Do you promise to try your best to turn bad players into good players instead of punishing them and forgetting about it?
This is my life goal in management period. Complete fairness and professional judgement on those accusing and those being accused.
Do you promise not to make up your own rules, not to give warnings for silly reasons and not to give warnings to people who only broke the rules once on accident?
I am all about the rules baby. Fair judgement cookies for all!
Do you understand that RetroRP is a relaxed server and that we want all staff to be mature, not be upset if someone calls you a bad name, cussing is okay on RetroRP?
Yes. I do believe maturity is strong feat to have for a staff! I hope to bring even more of that to the team and server! I have an amazing tolerance for any, "bad name calling". As far as cussing, as long as it is not out of hand or vulgar, it will not offend me whatsoever. But if it offends others, and I hear complaints, it will be handled accordingly.
Do you understand that if you misbehave/prove to be unsatisfactory as a trial-mod, we may remove your rank and make you user instead?
I understand that completely and that will not happen at all.
