This has happened so many times.

-I raid bank
-I kill everyone who could stop me
-I get to the vault, trigger the heist
-Killed by a cop I already killed due to "Well, you're raiding the bank now."

TO GET TO THE VAULT YOU NEED TO RAID. THE VAULT IS PART OF THE RAID, SO YOU CAN'T COME BACK IF YOU DIE.
Right?

This is true. To enter the back rooms of the bank RAID must be advertised and when you begin the heist in the vault it will be advertised through the system, but it is all ONE raid. So COPS if you died anytime after RAID was advertised during the bank RAID you MAY NOT act on the heist AT ALL until your NLR zone has been cleared. NLR zones act more as a timer than it does as a "you can't enter here" Think of your NLR zone clearing like the CP is getting reinforcements and it takes your NLR time as how long it takes for the Reinforcements to get to the bank.
