Why should we rank you?:
To be completely honest, I have had my fair share of Gmod experiences from a variety of servers. From DarkRP to Prop Hunt, my experiences are both good and bad. To the players ranging from the average Joe to your helpful moderators, it always has blown my mind when I have had a situation which needed it handled, and the moderators have either ignored me, or I have gotten little to no help on the situation. It has always been in my heart to help players in the best way I could to give them the best playing experience, if it be a little bit of money to a friend who you can talk to. I have many times lent my hand out in hopes that all people will one day do the same for me.
My experiences have led me to small moderation roles on minecraft, as well as making a name for myself on other garry's mod servers. My goal is always the same, to be there to help - in which I would like to do the same on here. I know I am not the perfect player, nor will I ever be (Then again who is? XD) but I can try to make the playing experience as enjoyable as it can be to the fullest extent. I would love to see this server grow into something big, and it would be very special for me to be apart of that growing experience. I believe this server has the potential.
So all in all, why should we rank you? I would (Like to) be a helping hand to the community, help enhance the playing experience of players by dealing with moderation duties, be there when someone is needed to when situations are needed to be dealt with whether it be big or small, and help the server peak to its highest potential, bringing it many players and hopefully great cherishable memories.
Do you know any staff members?: I know Not Steven, he is a great close friend I met from another server months ago, and we have a great bond. I would like to get to know the other mods/admins more before I even place them down here.
Do you promise to try your best to turn bad players into good players instead of punishing them and forgetting about it?: I will do the best I can, though I cannot promise anything, because it would be wrong of me to say so. Players make decisions for themselves, but I will try to be a good example in my actions and playing choices, for I can only hope that players make the best decisions for themselves. I promise though to take the proper steps when dealing with the situations of both inexperienced or rude players, as well as taking steps to insure players know what they have done wrong. With that said, I would also be willing to give these individuals the chance to make up for their actions, as well as working things out with them so that all can be forgiven and forgotten, allowing them a second chance, though I cannot promise no more or no less.
Do you promise not to make up your own rules, not to give warnings for silly reasons and not to give warnings to people who only broke the rules once on accident?: I find it sad that this even needs to be included into the applications. I will respect and follow the rules to the T, as well as follow the guide lines. I really find it disappointing when moderators do this, because that is abuse of the position.
Do you understand that RetroRP is a relaxed server and that we want all staff to be mature, not be upset if someone calls you a bad name, cussing is okay on RetroRP?: It is quiet understandable. When people are comfortable or angry it is very often that someone eventually expresses some very verbal language. People are human. (Besides, as a girl, I am quiet use to it by now. I just wish there was a little more respect for ladies out here.)
Do you understand that if you misbehave/prove to be unsatisfactory as a trial-mod, we may remove your rank and make you user instead?: I understand. I only hope it doesn't get to that point in which it must be done, but yes I understand.
